- Description:74 Romanian caregivers arrive Monday morning in Austria At 08:00 local time, the first special train with support staff from Romania arrived at the station of Vienna International Airport in Schwechat. The caregivers are to replace their colleagues who have been working through in Austria for weeks. The 74 caregivers boarded the night train in Romania last night and arrived in Schwechat this morning. After arrival they are now testing for COVID-19 and wait directly at the airport area in a hotel for the results. If tested negative they can continue their journey to the families who await them eagerly. About 33,000 people in Austria are dependent on the help of 24h-caregivers.
