Museums such as the "House of Austrian History" in Vienna are already providing memories of this. Like all other museums in the country, the “House of Austrian History” is currently closed, but work is going on inside. The first objects from the coronavirus collection are being prepared. Desired goods (popular to hoard during the pandemic) can be found, as well as documents from the canceled municipal council elections in Styria, which should have taken place on March 22. The "House of Austrian History" asks for the help of the population to actively write the history of the Corona period. Also the Austrian Public Broadcaster ORF participates with a museum gift: The operational insulation poster at the entrance to the ORF newsroom is made available to the museum after the Corona crisis. Because it has never been the case in the Second Republic that the museums were closed for health reasons.
