Description:The 'Messe Wien' campus is being transformed to cope with COVID-19 patients influx
In view of the expected further increase in COVID-19 patients, Austria’s capital Vienna is taking precautions to have enough beds for infected patients available if necessary. The “Messe Wien” campus, which is a large location for national and international fairs events, is being prepared for a large hospital. At the moment, Austria has 602 covid-19 infected people. 880 beds will be available next week, as the Vienna Mayor announced on Friday. The capacities are intended for patients who have mild symptoms of the disease but cannot be cared for at home or medically.
