- Description:01:00:00 - B-Roll The Office Emmys statue fountain, establishing shots of Academy, woman statue, Creed Bratton 01:03:39 - B-Roll The Office Creed Bratton, Phyllis Smith, red head woman 01:06:18 - B-Roll The Office Leslie David Baker, Oscar Nunez 01:09:50 - B-Roll The Office Kate Flannery 01:10:54 - Sound Bite: Creed Bratton Never, and I dont think till the rest of the life that goes on here on this planet there will be anyone as creepy as creed. The character. Not myself of course, you know. Id say Im kind of a nice guy. 01:11:20 - Sound Bite: Creed Bratton No the 4 toes and the speaking in Chinese and the iron lung I went fine. Because actually most of it is really what Ive gone through myself. They heard my story and said you just cant make this stuff up, well just tell you what you did, thats what we do. 01:11:56 - Sound Bite: Creed Bratton No because you just want to work, you hit your line, make sure your flys zipped up and thats it. 01:12:07 - Sound Bite: Creed Bratton Never worked in an office. Hardly ever had a 9 to 5 job in my life. I was just in a rock and roll band and then I was in the business I was a prop man, a boom man, a grip, background, which is a stand in, I mean all kinds of stuff in the business aspects of it, in the movie business aspects of it. (talks) Grass Roots back in the 60s. 01:12:55 - Sound Bite: Phyllis Smith Creed is kind of hes its hard to know sometimes which Creed youre talking to. Um who is least like his character? Tobys a lot like his character as well hes very kind of shy and you know um whos not? Rainn is not like Dwight. Rainn is so, hes coming pike here, um hes very thoughtful and stuff, he wouldnt want you to know that but hes really kind and thoughtful and hes not the Nazi character that he plays. 01:14:43 - Sound Bite: Phyllis Smith Like the moment where Michael and Oscar kiss, that was, I think it was scripted that they hug so when they actually kissed everyone went oh my God, its gonna happen. Yeah it was a genuinely, and then the expression on our face was true and real. 01:15:08 - Sound Bite: Phyllis Smith Theres a guy standing across there in his towel, standing in a towel over there on the balcony. Yeah hes in a blue and white striped towel. What kind of? Theres like hundreds of people here. {Alan pans and gets guy in towel} He goes inside now, its gonna be on YouTube. 01:15:49 - Sound Bite: Phyllis Smith We are elated at the success. When it first started um we were like the little show that could. There were a couple of things going against us, um one trying to overcome the British version because it was so great such a success and I think that uh our critics were thinking oh theyre not going to be able to you know bridge that hump and then there was another show, Couplings, that was another British show that came over and had a life of 3 airings and then it was so with those 2 similiarities I think it was kind of a you know odd situation. We had a long period of time before we had the pick up for the 5 and then there was another I went back to casting both times and um because I was in casting for 19 years so I went back to casting uh in between those times you know. And then the second season came. 01:17:03 - Sound Bite: Phyllis Smith People have come up to us and said that on Fridays at lunch thats all they talk about is the Office and what happened at The Office. 01:17:50 - Sound Bite: Oscar Nuez The one that least resembles it is Steve Carrel, and the one that most resembles it, I want to say Krasinski but hes got a lot more gumption than Jim but hes as nice a fellow as Jim is. The niceness of Jim thats John, John is that nice, but John has a lot more um ? whats the word? (talks) Yes! More gumption, more you know, than Jim, so yeah I guess those 2. 01:18:43 - Sound Bite: Oscar Nuez I liked the show of course the one I was in and he kissed me I think that might have been the most awkward moment. And there was one too where he uh he had a surprise for u but he didnt think of one. The surprise is {makes rumbling sound} and he was sweating and I was sitting right nest to him and you know you only see a little bit of it on TV but they rolled forever and hes just standing there and were just staring at him. It goes on forever like on the original Office, the British one, the awkward beats would go on for like 10 or 15 seconds longer than ours and thats I love that, I love it, its just so uncomfortable and theres no ? from Ricky Gervais and hes just like. And theyre just, he cant escape. So wed do it but because of commercials and our shows get shrunk down to 20 minutes after all is said and done instead of 30, it makes things a little quicker. 01:19:57 - Sound Bite: Oscar Nuez Well the most recent I guess would have been here and it was working part time in the evening at an insurance firm and it was filling out, I don;t know what it was, but it was putting forms into the computer, there were forms for home insurance so I know if you own a Rottweiler or a Chow your insurance is higher if you own one than if you dont or whatever but the office was extremely quiet and people were talking hush tones. It was just awful but thats how it was when you were in a cubicle. It was just crazy you know thats people do that. 01:20:54 - Sound Bite: Oscar Nuez Well if they sent Michael Scott out, hed probably blow a lot of money right away getting uh tan booth, you know the tan and buying sunglssed he cant even afford um and thinking that hes seeing celebrities when in fact its not the celebrities themselves so after hes calmed down for that, which will probably take him a a month, uh then he probably get some work done and theres a lot business out here so I think theyd do okay, make some money out of here. 01:21:42 - Sound Bite: Kate Flannery Well, who most resembles their character, Im gonna say Rainn Wilson, um hes um sorry um Im just gonna say Rainn Wilson because he knows more about Battlestar Galactica than most human beings should. And I dont care what he says that makes him very Dwight-like. You know what I mean? And whos the least like their character? Um Im gonna say me. 01:22:30 - Sound Bite: Kate Flannery Uh Ive been topless 3 times, thats always awkward, right? Um I think admitting Meredith was sleeping with the paper supplier in exchange for a discount and um Outback Steakhouse gift certificates, that was really awkward, yeah Im gonna pick that. Yeah sex for Outback Steakhouse gives you, yeah Im gonna say that, yeah. 01:23:37 - Sound Bite: Leslie David Baker Oh my gosh, hmm most resembles their character and least resembles their character. I would guess Ed most resembles his character and hmm Angela probably least resembles her character. Well actually I take that back, Brian least resembles his character too. Yeah. so. (taks) Well I mean you know theres the Brian ? thats the intellectual that we know and theres Kevin, Kevin. Yeah. (talks) Angela you know shes a sweet calm you know and then the Angela on the show is this wound tightly very you know person. 01:24:55 - Sound Bite: Leslie David Baker My most awkward scene physically awkward? Well when we had on the sumo suits, that was physically awkward, because they had to lay us on the tables between takes and when you pump up the suit it pumps out that way, but it also pumps the end and also squeezes your guts. 01:25:48 - B-Roll The Office Jenna Fischer, Mindy Kaling, Rainn Wilson 01:27:33 - Sound Bite: Rainn Wilson Are there Star Trek fans that thumb their noses at Battlestar Galactica? Because I will take them out. I will rip their faces off and eat them. No like Hannibal Lecter style, thats ridiculous. I am both, a Star Trek fan and I dont know about this new Star Trek because the new captain Kirk he looks like hes from a daytime soap opera you know what I mean? I dont know who that dude is but there was something about like Shatner was good looking but he was also like kind of like portly and a little bit weird, you know what I mean? This guy looks a little Abercrombie and Fitch. Im just jealous because I wanted to play Captain Kirk. 01:28:25 - Sound Bite: Rainn Wilson Um I would say Phyllis uh most resembles her character, and whos least uh Steves character. Like as sweet and kind and humble as a guy that youd ever want to meet and uh he always knows the right thing to say, unlike Michael Scott. Theres a lot of cameras pointing at me right now. A lot of hadnycams. 01:30:23 - Sound Bite: Rainn Wilson Talks about paper 01:30:39 - B-Roll The Office John Krasinski, 01:33:08 - Sound Bite: Ed Helms Thats a loaded question. Um who most resembles their character? Creed. No question. Um Creed, hes not as dark as his character, but from a personality standpoint, hes just as kind of random and delightful as his character. And then what was the other one? Who least resembles their character? Angela. No question. She is like this hilarious little bundle of southern Texas joy in real life and we you know what she is on the show. A very dark person. 01:34:03 - Sound Bite: Ed Helms Thats a great question and the answer is very simple, the Daily Show was way more awkward because its real and the people that youre having an awkward moment with are sharing in the awkwardness for real, and also like my job as a correspondent is to instigate awkwardness and that was tough it was hard on my constitution for 5 years. This is just pure joy. The Office all fiction so its just silly fun. Its like being in an awkward playground. 01:34:45 - B-Roll The Office Andy Richter 01:35:34 - Sound Bite: Andy Richter Talks about Conan 01:37:07 - B-Roll The Office Jenna Fischer
