I am horrified to learn that all the screaming women were not screaming for me the director but instead were going for Dwayne Johnson. 01:27:08 - Sound Bite: Andy Fickman Uh yeah you know this is our second movie to do together so we, on The Game Plan we had such a great time with the comedy and the character in that and now to do a big adventure movie with Dwayne who is you know one of the great action stars of Hollywood to me its uh, I cant think of anyone better for that. 01:27:29 - Sound Bite: Andy Fickman I uhm I grew up loving it I think Kim Richards was my first crush I think Ike Eisenmann was the kid I wanted to be most so uh uh when we started talking about doing this movie one of the challenges was I didnt want to start until I knew I had Kim and Ike in the movie and so we went after them and it was great having them join our journey. (talks) you know just waking up everyday as a director is a dream come true uh but doing a movie like this thats been so important to me for thirty years is uh is wild. 01:28:08 - Sound Bite: Andy Fickman You know its interesting a lot of people would ask I think that we took the approach if I got to a foreign country I would probably try and do my best if I was going to be there for a period of time to learn a little of the language, try to dress a little bit like they would dress in that country, be aware of the customs, and so when as we were doing the aliens we took the exact same approach. You know in Rome do like the Romans. 01:28:42 - Sound Bite: Andy Fickman * Green question Disney I think is really leading the charge in terms of studios going green and from the very beginning this whole set went green. So youre talking about for where everything that used to be paper, paper, paper starting becoming wire, wire, wire. Where uh where uh the recycling that was happening on the set that one point Dwayne and I actually did in the middle of shooting did an add campaign for recycling, that was used at Disney. So even then we kind of always being very conscious of it (talks) I think you know look I have an 11 year old son, I think that our job is to, the same way Im going to pass on hopefully a legacy of films to other generations to enjoy Id also like to pass on a planet for other generations to enjoy. 01:30:24 - Sound Bite: Madeline Carroll Well before I saw the previews for this I thought they had like really big eyes and like green but uhm now I found out that theyre normal people so I think thats really cool (talks) I have no idea. 01:31:11 - B-Roll - Race to Witch Mountain Premiere - Madeline Carroll Fashion Shot 01:31:38 - Sound Bite: Bailee Madison If they were aliens I think theyd communicate kind of like with their antlers and like their ears that always stick up. Wasnt really that glamorous, yeah thank you. 01:35:01 - Sound Bite: Chris Marquette Yes hes very big and very fast and he drives a much fast car and hes better driver than the FBI so yes it was very difficult {Laughs} 01:35:12 - Sound Bite: Chris Marquette Its great, its fantastic its uh full of lots of explosions, lots of good laughs and uhm I wish I was 8 years old so that this could be like my new favorite movie of all time to be honest so instead I brought like my little brothers and my friend and his nephew and stuff like that so I think theyre going to love it. 01:35:32 - Sound Bite: Chris Marquette Probably through, not their mouths, definitely not through, they dont talk I bet. I read a good book on aliens while I was actually shooting this thing called Communion which is an old book they made into a movie with Christopher Walken by a guy called Whitley Strieber whos also in the movie so says that he was abducted by aliens and they seem to he said talk like incests so they talk sort like threw there eee like I dont know something like that. But Ive never met an alien so I dont know what theyd talk like actually. What they look like either.
