- Summary: The International - Clive Owen: The International Junket Clive Owen Interview
- Description:05:40:00 - Sound Bite: Clive Owen was it a big shoot for him It was very big, yeah. I mean we were in incredible locations. We were traveling you know we shot a huge part in Berlin and then we did a bit in Leon and then we went to Milan and New York and Istanbul I mean they were serious locations. 05:40:14 - Sound Bite: Clive Owen are you a traveler by nature I tend to travel by work really. I mean theres a lot of travel involved in shooting movies very often but not moreso than in this film. 05:40:26 - Sound Bite: Clive Owen you dont get to see a whole lot cause youre working This is true, this is true. Its very limited. You dont really get that time out to be a proper tourist and go and do everything. I mean you do get to see a bit of it, but you pretty much hit the ground running in these places and youre seeing a hotel and the set. 05:40:54 - Sound Bite: Clive Owen this films very timely Its been very properly well-researched you know and its incredible how timely it is because you know this film was being written and developed for a couple years. If you consider, we stopped researching a year ago and since weve stopped shooting the attention and the way that banks have been collapsing the way they are and they way people are asking questions about where the moneys being used appropriately is everything this films about so its very timely. 05:41:36 - Sound Bite: Clive Owen the vibe of the film Its I mean the whole vibe of the film is that Naomi and I are very small human beings you know desperately trying to bring down this you know completely powerful multi-national company and how difficult that is. 05:42:05 - Sound Bite: Clive Owen did he know Naomi Yes I knew Naomi, Ive known her for a few years on and off just down, and weve tried to work together a few times, we nearly did, and then uh I was thrilled when she did this, yeah. 05:42:25 - Sound Bite: Clive Owen its almost impossible to work with who you want to work with But films are like that, you know you think they come together very easily, the stories behind every single film that youll see about how they started, how they turn into this, how it got stalled there, you know has someone been working on this for like, every film has a story, very few films come together simply and easily.
