- Description:15:26:50 - A01. HRN-2625 In: 15.26.50 Out: 15.27.22 Sound Bite: Tilda Swinton (FYI MIKEs in the SHOT!) No I dont think so I mean I I, I mean even George Clooney I dont think has any influence over the Coen brothers, I dont think anybody has any influence over the Coen Brothers but the good news is he didnt have my name crossed off the list uhm we shot this pretty much after Toronto last year I think we left with uh Michael Clayton and then we went o New York and shot this uhm by which time Id already worked with Brad Pitt also on Benjamin Button so it was uhm very nice kind of continuation. 15:27:26 - A02. HRN-2625 In: 15.27.26 Out: 15.28.15 Sound Bite: Tilda Swinton I think you know everybody is talking about what buffoons these people are but honestly I dont think any of us can hold up our hands and say were not that buffony I mean really its, its about a kind of randomness that that were all whether we admit it or not were all aware of these ridiculous human errors. Theres something about the idea the systems that we live by are run by system makers and are that you know the human error doesnt come into it and were all in denial if we think thats true. There have been so many mess ups recently in high places that we you know we have to know now that you know its a good thing you know were humans, we should be run by humans but ? human error too. 15:28:25 - A03. HRN-2625 In: 15.28.25 Out: 15.28.37 Sound Bite: Tilda Swinton Certainly, its a great uhm but we all come out feeling like were all terribly together, come out of this film like everythings really great in your own life. 15:28:43 - A04. HRN-2625 In: 15.28.43 Out: 15.29.12 Sound Bite: Tilda Swinton You know its so relaxed its sort of a little bit like being invited around to there house to do a school play around the kitchen table, its very straight forward. They work with a group of people most of whom they seem to have worked with for 20 years not only with actors but but in their crew and uhm theres this very familiar very relaxed feel they know exactly what theyre doing, theyve worked out an extraordinary script and theres only one way to do it and everybody just comes and plays. 15:29:19 - A05. HRN-2625 In: 15.29.19 Out: 15.30.07 Sound Bite: Tilda Swinton Well why didnt you tell me (talks) yeah really. (talks) I didnt go there to get an award, you know I felt really like Id gone to see a uh a match at Wimbledon and been handed a tennis racket you know I did not go there to stand up in front of 3 billion people, believe me. Uhm so yes it was a little surprising. (talks) Ive sort of blanked it from my mind, Im still in post traumatic stress disorder I think. 15:30:16 - A06. HRN-2625 In: 15.30.16 Out: 15.30.48 Sound Bite: Tilda Swinton No I think its really great performance I have to say because its something more, he calls it the third of trilogy of idiots with the Coens. But I think its something more than that. I think its something really something about the paranoia and uhm the panic in him thats uhm I dont know, I find it very, hes very vulnerable in it and I think theres something very very touching about it. But of course its also ridiculous.
