- Title: Whatever You Want: Unions
- Date: 6th December 1982
- Summary: The Union movement is traditionally turned to by those at the social bottom, they look after you, they helped your parents, what are they doing for you? There's people living on a tiny part of what union members get, because through no fault of their own they don't fill their daylight hours away from home,"working". Mike Sabin from Inverness wrote to us wanting to make a film to ask,are the unions doing enough? are they doing anything? should they be doing anything? in the programme. The young singer of the group Redskins, some journalist X Moore talks about this with a survivor from the 30's,Joe Kenyon who's been actively involved in unions all his life. What they say could make you re-think the role of the unions in Britain. There's also a look at a Liverpool branch of the movement working with people that other branches won't accept as members, why? Music comes from the Dead Kennedys and the Undertones.
