The programme reports on the training of police drivers at Hendon which involves high speed driving in unmarked cars without lights and sirens,and which involves only one session of night-time driving. DISPATCHES showed a video of the course to a road safety expert and asks whether Hendon justify the risk? DISPATCHES goes to Miami and and finds that driver training is not done on public roads. The cities of Baltimore and Miami police departments have both banned high speed pursuits.
